Ernest Bramah Smith, who published as Ernest Bramah, worked in several genres, but his best known works fall into two categories: detective stories featuring the blind detective Max Carrados, and his orientalist stories, most of which are humorous tales of the it1nerant storyteller Kai Lung. This section deals exclusively with the orientalist tales, and as usual with the "Other Authors" bibliographies in The Silver Stallion, it addresses only the first editions, English and American, and various other printings that I find significant for some reason. Mike Berros has published a completist bibliography on the web, The Ernest Bramah Bibliography. That site lists every edition of each of Bramah's books, stories, and articles the author could locate, and is far more complete that what I've listed here. My own partial bibliography is built on his work, and without that foundation I doubt I would have attempted creating this section of The Silver Stallion. At the same time, though, I believe that there is room for my addition to Bramah knowledge because in the usual Silver Stallion style I have provided both more data and more pictures for each issue that I do list. You could, I auppose, think of this as an adjunct to Mike's bilbiography, providing more detail on a subsection of our Author's orientalist and fantasist works.

Note on numbering: I have used two systems of identification numbers for the titles in this section. First listed (MB No.) is the system Mike B used in his bibliography. To that, I have added (SS Number) my own numbers in the Silver Stallion numbering format.
